Jeffrey Bingham Mead is a member of the Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut, the Second Congregational Church of Greenwich, and the Captain Matthew Mead Branch of the Connecticut Sons of the American Revolution. In Hawaii he is a deacon at Central Union Church of the Hawaii Conference of the United Church of Christ, and actively associated with Small Business Hawaii and the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.
