Jeffrey Bingham Mead is an author, member of the Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut, the Second Congregational Church of Greenwich, and the Captain Matthew Mead Branch of the Connecticut Society Sons of the American Revolution. In Hawaii he is the deacon emeritus of Central Union Church of the Hawaii Conference of the United Church of Christ, an adjunct professor at Hawaii Tokai International College, and founder and president of the History Education Council of Hawaii, an allied organization of the National Council for History Education.
